customer support is no good, updating info has not led me to getting my money

I have updated all the information asked of me 8 times or more, I have lost count, the AI is useless, and I have tried to contact E-bay through help and contact. it takes you in circles, and when trying to talk to an actual person it accuse me of being a bot, I just want the money for the things I have sold, but every time i log on it asked for my I.D to be updated! I do this then it asks for tax information, I uploaded this! I can still sell, I just cant access my money! What is going on!?

Mentor2 weeks agoI can only go by what I can see and it appears that your account has not been very active recently, so it would seem ebay are holding your money.
On every sold item once paid, it shows the date that money is expected to be released. Is there no release date?

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedYou've likely been flagged up because you're selling multiples of brand new items on a private account (which is for sellers just listing their personal bits and pieces such as items from their wardrobe, loft etc).
A Business seller is someone who buys or makes items to sell on. They need to be registered as a business to meet the requirements of UK law. eBay will be providing HMRC with your details anyway so it's vital to keep correct accounts for your tax return. You can obviously offset more expenses as a business seller, but can't offset any at all as a private one.
To correctly register as a business seller simply go to your Personal Information in your account and to the right of Account Type, which will be showing as 'Individual' you'll see an Edit option.
This doesn't affect your feedback profile or any current listings, it merely upgrades your account so that you're compliant with current consumer and eBay policy.
If you're also selling your own items, just open another eBay account (you can have more than one).

Mentor2 weeks agoHave you provided your National Insurance number (usually you can just add it to your account) and ID that eBay are requesting?
To access the account setting you need to use desktop, not the app.

Is your National Insurance number now showing in your account details? I had to add mine myself, as did most sellers, eBay didn't add it. Have you provided eBay with your licence?
