Hi I’m a bit confused why a book I ordered on the 5th of October 2025 then tried to cancel about 5 minutes after I purchased it because I could see it wouldn’t arrive on time between 25th of November - 9th of December. When I contacted the seller they said they couldn’t stop the order because it had already been dispatched. Why would it take up to 2 month just over to arrive .

OP11 months agoEst delivery date 26th of November-9th of December. I placed order on the
3rd of October. Tried to cancel it 5 mins after when I realised the
delivery date. But was refused because they said it was dispatched. How can
it take 2 months to be delivered

OP11 months agocancel it five minutes after I ordered it because I realised how it would
be too late for the book but I had a reply saying that it’s already been
dispatched and I can’t understand why it was take over two months to
arrive.

Mentor11 months agoSounds like it's coming from the other side of the world, or is this a pre order item?
A buyer can ask a seller to cancel their order, but the seller does not have to oblige.
Does the seller have a Returns accepted on their listing? Then, on receipt of the item, if still no longer required, you can return it for a full refund, but you are liable for the return postage cost.
