Customer asking how to reduce shipping cost to USA

Good Morning All,

I have a customer who has asked if there is a way to reduce the shipping costs to the USA if they buy a dress from me. They state they don't need it until April so there is no rush.

I have Global Shipping activated. I can't see any way of changing the shipping costs as I thought Ebay does all that automatically at checkout for the customer?

Any thoughts welcome please?

Avoiding using Global would no doubt make it cheaper, as I am sure they do not work for free, and of course it involves two lots of postage, but you would then have to deal with the complications of tariffs.

Yes, I guess that is why Ebay made it so simple with the Global Shipping programme for us. As the item is already competitively priced too there's not much else I can do, customer will have to decide.
