Custom Postage
I have sold several fishing rods this year on Ebay which have generally been two metres long and therefore ineligible for Simple Delivery.
There has been an option in the past to select alternative carriers and my choice has been DPD who are prepared to accept items this long at a sensible price (unlike Royal Mail), but this option seems to have suddenly disappeared.
Changing the weight & dimensions also seems to be missing.
Has anybody else experienced a similar problem?

OPAug 17, 2026 at 4:30 PMThanks for your input. I may have found a way round it by using EVRI where the combined l x w x d measurements of a long, thin item like a fishing rod fall within their maximum dimension limits.
Nonetheless, it would be helpful if Ebay fixed the bug, if that is what it is.
