Counterfeit policy
Hi there.
I have had 4 football shirt listings hidden today due to contravening counterfeit policy issues.
I am 100% sure all 4 are genuine. In the listing I post all the relevant labels, QR codes and product codes to back this up.
the only one thing I have changed, I am trying to set up global shipping, is country of origin, this was set to Uk (I had to put something in the box, I know this is incorrect) I had to do this due to the buggy nature of selling hub.
I have had a really smooth selling experience so far and if this continues I will look elsewhere. Could the wrong county of origin cause counterfeit issues?

Mentor6 months agoCounterfeit/fake does not necessarily mean what it says.
More likely to be VERO, brand owners can ask for items to be removed when for sale by unauthorised sellers.

Thanks for your reply. Today I had a further 21 shirts removed, and I have been told this is my last chance, bit harsh! So it clearly says counterfeit policy, if it was an infringement of VERO surly it would say this? It also says this was highlighted and removed by AI! All the "country of origin" inputs for these were set as default by eBay (used the phone app, i cant change the country of origin on the app) and were incorrect.
I have Sold over 200 hundred shirts without issue. This is really frustrating.
Do you know of a way to call Ebay please? The automated help bot is useless and no reply from email as yet.

Mentor5 months agoEbay bots always refer to fakes, they never say it is due to VERO.
So many things ebay could do to better explain what is going on rather than strange messages using AI, or robots.
