Counterfeit PANDORA and not as not as described.
I had the misfortune to bid on a pair of "SOLID 14CT GOLD PANDORA " earrings. They were a present for my daughter. They arrived and looks great. They were kept unused for a while before her birthday. A short time later, the same seller used the exact same advert again. My wife liked he earrings so I bid, and won the second pair. My daughter had by now been given the "SOLID 14CT GOLD PANDORA" earrings. The second pair arrived and I gave then to my wife. a couple of weeks later my daughter said the plaiting was peeling on her earrings . I was shocked. How can solid gold peel. She came to visit and I cleaned them and sure enough, peeling. I contacted the seller , He said he couldnt understand it. I subsequently sent pictures to show. I offered to take them to a jeweler to get tested. Avoided the issue. I tried to get them tested but the gold byer was closed. In Uxbridge there is a Pandora official shop . I took them into the Pandora shop. Confirmed counterfeit and plaited (or gilt) . They gave me the head office details should I wish to pass it on. I contacted the sell, who up to now was still saying no idea how that happend(?) and I told him, counterfeit/plaited. I asked for a full refund on both pairs as I had been miss sold both instances. Now he ignored me completely. I tried for a refund through EBAY Case was closed with no reason . (I expect it was because it was now over a month since the last sale. I cannot speak to anyone at ebay. Do Ebay feel if you get totally ripped off, it dosnt matter if its over 30days? Would anyone feel its ok, say if you Buy a solid 14ct gold wedding ring for your wedding, only to find a couple of months later its white metal? Would Ebay staff shrug there shoulders and think "Oh thats ok, It looked good for a few weeks" , I think not. Well thats what Ebay resolution center has left me feeling. I can go through small claims but why? What to Ebay think? As a small consequence, at least the seller is now saying they are gold plaited on the advert for the earrings, Even if in the pictures it shows the Pandora ALE G 585 marks for solid 14ct gold. Would be nice if he described his items as "in the style of Pandora."
