Counterfeit Elemis Pro Collagen Overnight Matrix 50ml

Order Elemis face cream which looked authentic and reviews on previous sales looked ok. Should have received it yesterday at latest but in meantime kept checking reviews and now 2 reviews say item is counterfeit. I requested cancellation of order because it has not been despatched (ebay say's it has, but EVRI shows it clearly hasn't been received by them so possibly I won't get it as I was collecting via Click and Collect. Seller ignoring cancellation requests. Left feedback on item, but Ebay removed. Tried to file a complaint to Ebay and they said AI detected that they can't find anything wrong with listing, although all pictures don't correspond with item sold. The seller is still listing. Feel so stupid as I usually buy from QVC or Elemis and don't know how to get my money back, other than going to credit card Company. Cannot find anyway of ringing Ebay now, but I am coming to the conclusion there are a lot of rogue traders out their now. Pride myself in selling and buying in the right way 100% satisfaction. I know what to look for if the item arrives, but I suppose I can't return it if its counterfeit. Any suggestions, it's making me very anxious.

Mentor2 weeks agoWhen a seller downloads a postage label the order is marked as dispatched (even though it may not be with the carrier), that's why you can't cancel the order. As regards leaving feedback, if you haven't received your item then eBay are obviously going to remove it. You can't critique an item you haven't received.
You're still covered by eBay's Money Back 30 day Guarantee against your item not arriving or not being as described if it does. If it's not as described you just open an eBay return and select "Doesn't match description or photos". The seller has to pay for the return postage cost.
If the face cream is counterfeit product and your seller is a UK registered business seller you can report them to Trading Standards. If they're a private seller listing lots of that item you'd have to ask yourself why they have it. For what it's worth, anything that you ingest or put on your skin I would only ever buy from a UK registered business seller who is licensed to sell that brand, or the brands website. There have been some dodgy ingredients and nasty bacteria found in counterfeit/unsealed products.

Because I requested cancellation I believe only EBay or the seller can cancel the order. I’m waiting to see what happens next. No sign of the order ever being sent, but perhaps they had second thoughts in view of recent buyers feedback. I can’t contact eBay, because their system is stopping me from doing so.
