Hi, I cannot understand why Ebay Uk let sellers sell COUNTERFEIT products.
I bought a Genuine magsafe 3 and was really a fake reproduction,
Send it back
Asked another seller with 98% positive
and he answered me that was not original aljso if the announce is
Genuine Apple MacBook Air ..... MagSafe 3
with a cost of an original used one (53 pound).
No way to contact ebay assistance, only chatbot,
and still they are scamming people

Mentor1 week agoAs ebay never see any of the items for sale and there are millions, you are expeecting too much to think ebay will examine every listing.
That is why ebay has a 30 day money back guarantee, and the ability to report listings.
Unless buyers use the tools available sellers can continue selling copies/fakes.

OP1 week agoThank you for your answer, I really couldn't find any "report listing" on my purchase

Mentor1 week agoBuyers don't get scammed if they use the money back guarantee, which is also the way ebay finds out about fakes being sold.

OP1 week agoShould be a system for waning ebay if the product is not original, if there is 98% of customer satisfied, perhaps not everybody will recognise a fake cable from an original one and will think that they pay for genuine one.

Mentor1 week agoIf you receive a fake cable - or even think that the cable you have received is fake - eBay will almost always accept the buyer's word for this and require the seller to refund them and pay for the return postage.
However, when it comes to reporting items as fakes, claims by users are not reliable. Not everyone knows what they're talking about - and there are plenty of users who would make false reports to settle scores or disadvantage rival seller. eBay no longer accepts reports from users that items are counterfeit. Instead, they now advise users to contact the brand owner, who can report counterfeits to eBay. eBay has a long-standing arrangement to remove items reported by the brand rights owner - see VeRO at foot of page.
