Contacting sellers who have opted out of messages

I’ve found something I’m really interested in buying but need more info from the seller. However the seller has chosen not to receive messages. It is listed as ‘collection only’ so I would definitely need to contact to arrange to collect! Has anyone had experience with this? The eBay automated messenger was hopeless in giving an answer! Thanks

Sellers can only block messages by putting a specific ID on their blocked bidder list and then also blocking them from sending messages. So is it someone you've dealt with before?
