Contact a human at ebay for support?
Summary: manic-mechanic-18 is seeking advice on obtaining assistance from eBay for returning an item that doesn't fit their vehicle. They are frustrated as the AI chat doesn't resolve their issue, and the seller only offers partial refunds instead of a full return. *vyolla* asks for clarification on the return reason. manic-mechanic-18 responds without resolving the issue. They are within the 14-day return window and are unsure how to proceed.
I'm trying to contact eBay for some assistance with an item I want to return (the item doesn't fit my vehicle). The AI chat is sending me in circles with no resolution.
The seller keeps offering a partial refund and us to " sell on" the item (almost £300). I don't want to sell it on. Each time they delay and offer an additional £25 (now at £75). I have repeatedly requested a full refund
They have initially sent a returns label, alongside the initial offer of "keep it, sell it on" and take £25 partial refund.
I am still within the 14 day window from purchase.
How can I get eBay to assist with this issue?
Do I just return it and hope they refund all the purchase price?
Any help or advice will be greatly received.
Thanks in advance.

Mentor1 month agoWas the part sold matching your vehicle in the description, making it not as described?
What reason did you select for the return - was it 'Doesn't fit' or 'Doesn't match description or photos'?

Mentor1 month agoIn your opening post you state that the part didn't fit your vehicle, now you're saying that your customer never turned up. What does this all mean?
If you're a business and have a change of mind return the rules are a bit different.
