Mentor3 weeks agoThis all depends on the delivery date of the item.
Are you still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery? Then, proceed this way.
Go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select Return this item. Select the reason Item Not as Described >> Does Not Match Description or Photos. The seller needs to either refund you in 3 days, or issue a pre paid return label for the return of their item. Once the item is received, they have 48 hours to refund you.
If this doesn't happen, you need to escalate to eBay, eBay step in and force the refund.
Listen to no excuses or promises from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.
If this timeline has passed then turn to your payment provider reporting a faulty item, for help with a refund.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou need to read how the money back guarantee works. Then you will know what to do in the future.

OP3 weeks agoCan you advise me please is it possible to get the money back our refund, as the payment was made in three stages it’s a credit arrangement last end of month and we are £2000 out of pocket

Mentor3 weeks ago · EditedThe credit sale to fund the purchase has nothing to do with eBay. If for any reason you are unable to get a refund through eBay, approaching the credit or debit card (or other financial institution subject to the consumer credit act 1974) that funded the credit arrangement is your best hope of claiming a refund.
Failing that, you could consult citizens advice or, for the amount of money involved, see a solicitor.

Mentor3 weeks agoIs it a Klarna payment?
You have 120 days to try and get your money back via them,Klarna will ask you to upload clear photos or videos showing exactly how the item isn't as described and some proof (screenshots will do) that you've been liaising with the seller about this.
