Confusion about Postage
Hi all,
I have one item sold today. It says the buyer has already paid for postage. However, when I tried to print the code I seemed to have paid for the postage again - £5.88 has been withdrawn.
So I really confused now - does this mean both of us have paid for the same postage? Or I will get the buyer's postage money once it's been delivered?
Appreciate your advice

Mentor4 months agoYou listed with custom delivery so what the buyer pays you includes the delivery charge. You use that money to buy the postage.
'Buyer pays' simply means it was not free delivery (seller pays).

It says they already paid for the postage, so I thought I could simply donwload the code that they paid for.
Now you seem to suggest their payment to Ebay covers the postage that they had chosen, and I need to paid first and 'claim' it back when Ebay pays me in due course.

If what they paid included the £5.88, then buyer has paid to you cost of purchase plus postage and it is up to you to pay courier.
