Confused about auto rejected orders
I rarely use eBay and having done so to sell a DJ unit I'm finding it confusing. I have item 168551937274 listed. I sent out offers to some and only realised after that locks my ability to change the "allow offers over" amount. I also think that looking at the offers section the system has automatically rejected some offers I would've accepted! Any help much appreciated to understand what's going on and what to do next. Shall I cancel the item and relist?

Mentor3 weeks agoRead offers carefully and pay attention to “what seller will receive” as so many ignore this and then find they have less. than expected.
Restricting the amount that can be offered, in my opinion is not a good idea, bearing in mind the confusing buyer premium.
I think with your situation, the restriction on offers should be cancelled as that can confuse, and just allow ALL offers, There is a quick solution to cheeky offers, Decline.
If not possible to edit, end listing and relist.

Mentor3 weeks agoOne thing to bear in mind is that when you set an offer amount it will be without the buyer protection fee but a buyer will offer including the fee, so an offer that appears to be over or equal to what you have set to be automatically accepted, may actually (once the BPF is removed) be below that amount.
