Complaint against seller

Question

I have returned a faulty item only to be told the warranty process can take 8/12 weeks and to purchase item elsewhere in the meantime as my car is off road due to this item being faulty. I am being unfairly treated.

When was the part delivered? If it was more than 30 days before you started your claim under the warranty you are not covered by ebay.

As said using correct procedure gets fast refund, or you escalate to ebay. This is the Ebay money back guarantee nothing to do with warranty..

If you opened an eBay return and selected the 'item is defective' reason and returned it via a pre-paid label that the seller or eBay supplied then your refund should be processed within 3 days of the package showing as being delivered back with your seller.

Can I just confirm that you followed the above process?
