COMPLAINT ABOUT AN EBAY AGENT
Summary: victrick0 expressed frustration with an interaction they had with an eBay customer service agent. After receiving a counterfeit product from a seller, they attempted to resolve the issue through eBay’s support. victrick0 initially spoke with a helpful agent, but a subsequent call resulted in a negative experience with a disrespectful agent. They encountered difficulties uploading a required declaration for a refund due to a misleading link intended for sellers, not buyers. victrick0 hopes that the recorded conversations will support their complaint.
Is there a contact number for making complaints about one of Ebays Agents? The first agent I spoke to was lovely but I had to ring back and the woman was really nasty, huffing and puffing and being really disrespectful. She then asked ME to lower my voice having riled me and basically called me an idiot. Im not one for tears but i broke down and said why are you being so rude. I asked to be put through to a manager and she put me on hold for ages, so i rang back and got the same woman. She then said she was transferring me to a manager and cut me off.
I received some counterfeit product from an ebay seller and I rang to inform them, they were also going to refund me . I thought I was being good telling them about this. They sent me forms to fill in and a declaration form saying I wouldnt resell the item. Thats not the problem, but they sent me a link to upload the declaration and the wording said, please tell us about the item you are trying to sell on ebay. BUT im not trying to sell this item. I said I couldnt upload the declaration to this link as the wording was for a seller not a buyer. She started saying " Oh so you dont want your refund, just upload the declaration, but I said " IM not the seller" im not sending anything on that link. She then started to say, we do this all the time and your just being difficult.
They say they record conversations I hope they recorded this one.

Mentor2 weeks agoOf course the CS agent was wrong to speak to you so disrespectfully, and I fully understand being so upset afterwards, I would be too. Even with the agent's name , little you can do but report it, and you won't know if any, of any, outcome.
For your refund concerning the counterfeit items, the seller has fobbed you off with a load of rubbish, listen to them no further, but proceed this way....
Hopefully, you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery, if so, act now, go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select Return this item.
Select the reason Item Not as Described >> Does Not Match Description or Photos. The seller needs to either refund you in 3 days, or issue a pre paid return label for the return of their item. Once the item is received, they have 48 hours to refund you.
If this doesn't happen, you need to escalate to eBay, eBay step in and force the refund.
Listen to no excuses or promises from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.
