Combined postage with Simple Delivery
Hi, is my understanding correct that it’s not possible to use combined postage even if the buyer hasn’t paid yet? I’ve looked at the guidance etc but the various postage management options referred to don’t appear to be available. Any help/advice on this please would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Mentor9 months agoAs peaseblossom says, combined invoices cannot be sent for separate purchases, and the solution of cancelling and relisting risks losing sales.
Unless you are a new seller, as far as I am aware, money is released within 24 hours, and not held until item is delivered.
I do not use simply delivery, but post on day after payment made, but money is released in much less than 24 hours, before I have even posted.

Mentor9 months agoWith Simple Delivery the items have to be bought in one transaction at checkout to receive a single postage label for the items to be combined. Even then there are often problems. If you don't want to send the lots separately ideally cancel/refund the transactions with buyer's agreement and relist in one listing with one postage for the buyer to buy again. You do that from the dropdown menu for the items on your orders list.
The alternative would be to send them together anyway. Open the unused label to mark the item as dispatched then add the tracking number to the extra item at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow. That has to be done on a desktop browser but some people have problems doing this. If you can't manage it the payment will be held for 14 days.
If the buyer paid for the unused labels the cost will be automatically refunded to them in 30 days.
