Combined Postage for Private Seller using Simple Delivery
Summary: chose24 inquired about combined postage options for a private seller using Simple Delivery. **peaseblossom** responded to the query but the content of the answers is not provided.
A buyer has purchased 4 items and is requesting combined postage. How do I do this with the new Simple Delivery system? The 4 purchases were made as 'Offers' so they have come through as 4 individual orders and I cannot see a mechanism to combine the 4 items.
Individually the items are small parcel less than 1Kg, but combined it will be a 3Kg parcel. So I cannot even use just one of the labels, it has to be a new class of postage. The 4 individual delivery prices are considerably more than 1 item so entirely understandable why they want to combine the costs.
Thank you to anyone that can help.

Mentor5 months agoYou can't change the current Simple Delivery transaction options so you'd have to cancel/refund the transactions with the buyer's agreement and relist with items on one listing and a single postage cost for the buyer to buy and pay again.

OP5 months agoI followed the advice and it did allow me to merge the 4 purchases into 1 listing. Less packaging for me and a happy buyer who was previously thought he was being ripped off with 4 lots of postage. Only, today I find out that I now have four defects registered against my account for the cancellations. For trying to do the right thing for everyone. This so called Simple Delivery is anything but simple.
