collecting after buying normal delivery first
my buyer bought the "normal"delivery but realized that he could easily collect instead, which he has done.
Alas he does not know bow how to inform the eBay, so that the item is deemed as "delivered"and so that I (the seller) get paid.
A bit of a poser ......

Mentor11 months agoBuyers get a QR code which the seller has to scan to prove items have been collected but in your case, because the item was not advertised as collection only, your buyer will not have this code and you have no proof the item was delivered.
All it means is that now you'll have to wait for up to 21 days for ebay to release your funds,

Mentor11 months agoSimple answer it cannot be done. As you are not a new seller money is released within 24 hours. The risk you take is you have no proof of delivery so buyer could open a NOT RECEIVED CASE to get a full refund, and also a late delivery defect.
I received a payment from buyer this evening and money has already been released although I will only be posting tomorrow.

Mentor11 months agoHe could but they wouldn't take any notice. They only accept online postal tracking or a collection code as proof the buyer has the item. It's an automatic system. You will get the payment but it will be delayed.
