Collected item still showing as ready for dispatch
Summary: wych07 is experiencing an issue with eBay where a collected item still appears in the 'Orders ready for dispatch' section despite following all the required steps and eBay's advice. john1297576 suggests that sometimes such glitches are best left alone as long as the buyer is satisfied and the item has indeed been collected.
I've sold something for collection only. It has been collected. I have put in the collection code and it is marked as collected but it is still on my 'Orders ready for dispatch'. It was sold 11 days ago and collected 7 days ago. I contacted EBay chat and they said it takes up to 48 hours to update but here we are a week later.
Anybody know how to get it off there (apart from Archiving it which was what ebay suggested which I did. I then tried to unarchive it and it goes back into 'orders ready for dispatch')? thanks

Mentor2 weeks agoWhen strange things happen and ebay do not know why it is best to leave well alone, and hope it sorts itself out.
You know it has been collected, buyer is happy, so why worry about another ebay glitch.
