collected item rather than couriered
I have purchased and paid for a bike, I had requested that this be couriered to me, however I then asked the seller if I could collect. This was arranged and I have the bike, but i cant mark the item as received as it is down as dispatched for courier (which obviously isnt needed any more). How can I ensure that the seller gets the money, as I have been asked to mark the bike as collected but I cant

OPJul 9, 2026 at 8:24 PMThanks.. Feel bad as he was accommodating with me coming to collect... and now has to wait longer.. do you know what happens to postage money (only £6!).. just interested as wont have been used either..

MentorJul 10, 2026 at 6:25 AMThat depends who paid the postage. If you did you should get an automatic refund in about 30 days. If the seller did they may have to apply for a refund.
