Click and Collect Simple Delivery

Question

Message from ebay to say that Click and Collect Simple Delivery will be free for clothing items under £20 from September to end October. Does this mean free to both the buyer and seller ie ebay is picking up the delivery fee?

ie if I list something for £5 the buyer will pay £5 plus buyer's fee but nothing for delivery and I will receive £5 payment?

Guessing this is a ploy to move sellers from Vinted to ebay

Yes, that's correct. There are some terms and conditions though:

You list the item with buyer pays postage as normal.
The buyer sees £0 delivery at checkout.
eBay covers the cost of the Click & Collect delivery label during the promotion.
You therefore don't pay the postage yourself and the buyer doesn't pay it either — eBay is effectively funding the delivery.
It isn't a reduction in your selling price or a fee taken from your proceeds.
The promotion applies to eligible Fashion/Clothes, Shoes & Accessories items priced at £20 or less, and the item has to meet the dates and other conditions.
