Christmas bauble damaged
I had ordered a special Christmas bauble in memory of my mum who passed away last year and when it arrived, it was damaged. The seller must have known it was like this as the padding it came in was excellent yet it was still sent to me. This has made me very upset. Why do some sellers think it's okay to send damaged goods?

Mentor10 months agoYour seller is Chinese where messages like that is par for the course. Ignore all messages from them and start a return stating Damaged, or not as described.
And if he tells you that you need to close the case before he can refund you ignore him. Keep your case open until you've been refunded,

Mentor10 months agoDamage can occur however well an item is packed. No sensible business seller would send out a damaged item as it just costs them money.
If it was a private seller then perhaps it is their way of getting rid of damaged item and hope ebay will refund.
If it is a private seller, I suggest opening a NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE then he will have to refund, not ebay.

Mentor10 months agoOpen ebay case for damaged on transit.
If seller used SD, they shouldn't be private seller if selling this type of item, then ebay will refund.
If not, seller provides returns label, you post back for full refund.
Due to type of item, seller should just refund without return, but you still need to open case.

OP10 months agoI had two messages from this seller. The first being that they will refund me and the second, reading between the lines they said, we will refund you if you change your review to good. I would rather lose the refund than lie. This seller is despicable.
