China companies
Why are Chinese company allowed to advertise as if they are based in UK when actually they not. They say quick delivery times of two days when in fact it's take over a week or longer. To me this is stopping buyers get something they need quickly and for most of the time at the same price . To me it's like we are being con.

They're not. However eBay doesn't always make it very clear that sellers are in China, so it's a good idea to check their feedback page which will state the country in which they're registered.
If an item is listed as being located in the UK but is actually sent from China this is reportable to eBay. And if it arrives even a day late eBay entitles you to treat is as not as described, if you wish, and to return it for a full refund. The seller is responsible for the cost of return. (If they try to get out of paying this, contact eBay customer support.)

All those cases being opened and ebay would be suspending accounts.
