Changed delivery method after sale - how do i alter tracking number
Summary: sweetshop147 sold an item on eBay intending to use Royal Mail for delivery, but instead used Parcel Force due to the item's size. They paid out of pocket for this service, but the tracking still shows Royal Mail, impacting the confirmation of delivery and release of funds. I havent used EBAY for years but have just sold something .
I originally put down ROYAL MAIL tracked but once the item was purchased , i realised i should have used parcel force ( item quite large )
So i paid out of my own pocket and sent it via parcel force ( item was delivered today )
Problem is , EBAY still thinks it supposed to be delivered via royal mail and therefore the tracking number hasnt shown that its been delivered since royal mail was never used.
How do i change the tracking on ebay for this item to show its been delivered so it will release funds.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou can't change tracking number these days. It will be untracked as far as ebay is concerned and so the payment may be held for 14 days. As a new seller payment may be held for 30 days anyway, which is s separate issue.
