Change to a business account disaster
I’m hoping someone can advise. I’ve just changed my long-standing private eBay account to a business account and opened a Premium Shop. I already had around 1,300 active Good ’Til Cancelled listings built up over about two years.
After changing over, I discovered my account now has a selling limit of only 130 items. I’ve spoken to three eBay agents and have been told that as my existing listings reach their renewal dates, they will not auto-renew and will move to Unsold because I’m over the limit. I have about 50 due to renew tomorrow alone.
I’m confused and very concerned because I’m now paying for a Premium Shop with a 1,500 fixed-price listing allowance, but apparently I’m not allowed to maintain the 1,300 listings I already had. Has anyone else had this happen after converting to a business account, and was there any way to get the limit reviewed or protect the existing listings?
