Change from postage to collection after sale and label printed
I sold an item and had it ready to post. However to purchaser lived close by and decided to collect it. I need to know how to get paid as eBay will be tracking postage tracking.

Mentor2 weeks agoIf the item is collected you will get paid but will incur a 14 day hold, if the buyer only had the choice of postage only when originally buying. Depending on who paid postage if buyer they will be refunded, if you you need to claim back within 14 days.

OP2 weeks agoThanks. EBay help is useless as it won’t allow you to cancel a simple label even though their help says you can. Not an issue waiting 14 days. Purchaser is known to me (neither of us realised until sale completed). 👍

Mentor2 weeks agoIf you were paying for the postage try this link, it explains how to get a refund. If it was your buyer they should be automatically refunded within 30 days.
