Change active listing to buy it now
Auction listing start £45. Potential buyer asked if I’d take £35. I said £40. This agreed . Tried to change listing to ‘buy it now’ but wouldn’t do it. Ended item and tried relist at £40 ‘buy it now’. Wouldn’t do it - reason = stated that autorelist items couldn’t be relisted!! I switched off ‘autorelist’ for the item ans saved. Message kept coming up cannot relist autorelist items! My only option appears to be to start again and setup as £40 buy it now. Frustrating. Can you help anyone? Many thanks

Mentor1 year agoThis auto relist is a problem when wishing to relist in a different format, but you should have been able to deselect it when relisting.
Which device are you using? If the app or mobile browser they are limited in some of the necessary functions, if using those, switch to a laptop / PC , and use Chrome that seems to work well with eBay, try and relist deselecting the auto relist.
If it doesn't work try clicking on Sell Similar on the item .
You may need to relist the item from scratch if non of the above work.

OP1 year agoThankyou. I had cancelled autorelist on my main computer (not mobile) so it should have worked but didn’t on this occasion. I’ll probably just relist as a new item and accept that I may have lost the buyer☹️. Your advice is greatly appreciated 👍.

Mentor1 year agoWhy ever don’t you add BEST OFFER to listings. There is no commitment you do not have to accept offers, and this would have all been long since sold, and paid for.
