Hi All,
I import and sell catering trailers from China, have done for years. I would just like to put it out there that if you see an advert for cheap food trailers at silly prices, be very careful. There are unscrupulous people supposedly with their own factories selling on eBay !
Don't be sucked in by the prices, firstly, most of the adverts are misleading, the photos will show large 5m-6m trailers for £2.5-£3k, this is ridiculous, not even China can make and sell a trailer of this size for that money. They will ask for a deposit, then payment before the trailer leaves the factory, do you know if the factory exists ? how can you be sure you are not being scammed out of your money, you can't, I visit China 3- 4 times a year, i am on my 5th five year business visa, i know what i am talking about. I welcome competition, i know the best factories, but i am getting a bit fed up with the scammers out there.
Just be careful.

Scams have been going on for decades over all selling platforms with vehicles/trailers, yet people are still willing to send a bank transfer to a complete stranger they've never met (and never will) without stopping to think how their payment is protected.
Warnings have been going on for decades on TV programmes such as Watchdog, consumer websites and social media, yet it seems that people still can't stop themselves when theres a too good to be true bargain.
