Seller states cash on collection - collection only. Surely this ain’t allowed? Is the sale still legitimate if I purchase with an alternate buying option…

Mentor1 month agoIf it was allowed, the seller could not mark paid, or received by buyer and could cancel the transaction for non payment, you then risk no item and no cash.

Mentor1 month agoIt's not allowed by ebay and they will block exchange of phone numbers or address prior to online payment. But no one can force a seller to proceed with a transaction if they decide they don't want to.

Mentor1 month agoeBay no longer allow cash on collection.
It's not possible to exchange contact details to arrange collection until the item has been paid for via eBay chackout.
