card payments failing suddenly
I have seen a few messages about this problem recently. Suddenly I am unable to pay by card. I tried a halifax credit and Bank of scotland Debit. It's the same on my wife's account. The bank says ebay is doing something wrong with the transaction. If I try apple pay it doesn't even get to the point where I can choose a card, so it's definitely an ebay problem.

What error are you getting? If the same cards are getting the same error with different accounts, then it might be a security block for shopping online, if this is the case, we wouldn't be able to do much from our end, but if you confirm what error you're getting, I can take a further look for you no problem.
