Can’t place bid due to restriction?

I am getting this message when trying to place a bid.

“ looks like another account you use has items that weren’t paid for, so we restricted your account to Buy It Now”

I don’t have another account and all my previous purchases etc are up to date ??

Is there anyone else in your household with an eBay account, they may have some unpaid items.

Or, has anyone logged in with your device to their eBay account, again with possible unpaid items ?

Customer Services don't usually explain restrictions but maybe worth contacting them explaining there is no other account, could they shed some more light on this.

Contacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.

Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.
