Can't delete orders from my selling pahe
Summary: sidneyl88 is experiencing difficulties deleting 12 orders from their selling page, while they were able to delete inactive items without issues. They faced an error message when attempting to delete orders on their laptop but received no message on the app. tressygirl responded, explaining that it might not be possible to delete sold orders due to record-keeping requirements and suggested archiving recent orders to keep things tidy.
I had 12 orders this week and a similar number of unsold (inactive) items
I was able to delete the unsold/inactive items but can't delete the 12 orders. I've tried in both the app and my laptop and tried deleting individually and all 12 together. On the mobile app there is no error message - on the laptop it keeps saying "
We weren't able to delete these orders right now. Please try again later."
Anyone know a way around this? Are we all having the same problem? It's not a huge deal but makes it harder to keep things tidy!

Mentor1 month agoYou can't delete them, and its best not too. If you sell more than 30 items in a year or hit a certain value then legally eBay need to report your account to HMRC as part of the OECD rules. In the unlikely event that HMRC come back to you, you will need this data.

Mentor1 month agoI believe it's no longer possible to delete sold items / orders the previous way, that is, ticking the box on the left hand side and going to delete. eBay wish them to stay there for record keeping and tax compliance.
Very happy to be corrected about the above , but believe this is the case now.
All you can do is to archive the ones from the last 90 days, at least it keeps the page ' tidy'!
