Can't contact buyer

Hi,
I had my account locked in January and a buyer purchased an item from me. My number and email changed same time so ebay flagged it as my account was compromised. It wasn't it was just me. I couldn't contact the buyer and they requested a refund but ebay declined it. I now have my account unlocked so tried to contact buyer but each time it takes me to a blank page. Also when I open messages for a second I see the buyer did contact me but ebay reloads the messages and it disappears and all is there is message notifications from eBay I'm guessing buyer blocked me. I asked ebay if they could contact buyer for me but they said no. Any help appreciated! Thanks

Mentor1 month agoWhy did buyer request a refund, did they open a proper case, if so what sort? It is most unusual for ebay to decline a refund request if buyer has gone about it in the correct way.
Buyers cannot block sellers, although blocking youbas a buyer could slso block messages.
After do long probably best to go no further

OPSep 7, 2026 at 2:21 PMThey requested a refund as they never received the item as I was locked out so couldn't send it. I don't understand why eBay declined the refund, when I spoke on phone to them and said the buyer hasn't received item because eBay locked my account and has paid but was told just get in touch with them in a few months to explain, but it was like they couldn't refund because my account was locked, it's weird I know.
Ok strange why I can't msg the buyer then, maybe account not active any more but looked fine as saw her rating etc currently.
