cant cancel delivery label as issued a ref for drop off that i cant use

I AM A SELLER . I had a parcel which was a standard Evri delivery. I packed it up, took the post office, and the post office said too big and Evri most likely won't collect. Checked with another drop-off shop and said the same .
So I cancelled, but the ref number still shows as not used. No alternative given. Now I am told by eBay that I have to wait 30 days before the label can be refunded as not used, so I can't get paid even though I have sent a parcel paid for by myself to the buyer via Parcelforce . Evri doesn't answer phones, so no way to contact them. Surely, as not used and delivered, I can get paid, as this is ridiculous. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Mentor1 month agoWithout tracking on ebay payment is usually held for 14 days. If they class you as a new seller it will be held for 30 days.
