Cannot Purchase Without Verified Phone Number? I Have Two Stage Verification Setup!
As title really. Verified email address, verified phone number. Account got hacked probably 2 or 3 years ago now but speaking to the person on the phone who helped me get it back then they could see i have had the same mobile number since i set up the account in 2000/2001 i think? The ai on the site is useless, trying to contact by phone is a joke...

OP6 days agoDo you think I have forgotten my telephone number, address and postcode ffs? They have been the same for the past quarter of a century on ebay apart from getting hacked for a short while. Amazon it is then...

Mentor6 days ago · EditedNo need to be offensive --- we are trying to assist --- There have been many changes since 2000/1 and account requirements need to be reviewed and updated at intervals.
Simple to check and reset account details if needed --- could make a difference !.

OP6 days agoLike what I went though in 2023/24 (iirc) when my account got hacked and I changed to two step verification on the advice of an actual person on the phone? I'm not being offensive, just disappointed at how crap the customer service now is a few years later...
