Cancellation of Order
Summary: psum8377 sold a shower door and side panel, which the buyer inspected and purchased through eBay. However, payment was held up due to a bank registration issue. Five days later, the buyer requested to cancel the order, leaving psum8377 concerned about accepting the cancellation, as the item might not be in a resalable state and no payment has been received yet. psum8377 seeks advice on how to proceed and ensure the item is returned.
I sold a shower door and side panel that I had bought by mistake (wrong size). The box had been opened but all parts were there. the buy bought the door after ripping the box even more to check all part were there. They collected item themselves and paid through ebay at the time of collection. I didn't receive payement as the payment is on hold due to me not registering a banck account. Five days later they have requested a cancellation of the order. Do you automatically have to accept the cancellation as I suspect that it wont be in a resalable state and even so I haven't received payment to refund and how do I ensure I get the item back?

Mentor3 weeks agoWhat reason have they chosen for return?
If they are claiming it is not as described you will have to accept the return and arrange postage/collection of the item then refund.
Any other reason you can refuse the return.
