Canadian order not covering true postage
All my previous CD buyers have provided a UK address for despatch of sold items. I have received my first order for delivery to a Canadian address. The postage to Canada (£6.95 untracked & £11.40 tracked) is higher than the total selling price (£5.32) of item including postage. How do I either ask the Canadian to remit more postage or refuse the order?

OP6 months agoI get to active listings and bulk edit. See screen. Looking on the LHS I can't see 'Pricing'. Have I got the wrong screen?

·6 months agoNearly there.
You need to select all or some of your listings for the options to edit to appear.
See my little corner of your screenshot below - you need to click in the box which will select all of your listings.
It's below 'bulk edit' but above all of the boxes for your individual listings. Once you do that, the menu options appear.

OP6 months agoReally helpful jckl. Nice to have the support of an experienced mentor. But I'm not there yet.
I get to Seller hub, where I can manage active listings, and bulk edit.
However none of the columns show 'Delivery' so I have not found 'POSTAGE POLICY'.
I hope to follow your advice and set up a new overseas policy and cost.

·6 months agoOnce you choose your active listings and 'bulk edit', the options for editing appear on the LH side, with 'PRICING' at the top.
Scroll down for all of the other options, including 'DELIVERY'.

Mentor6 months agoThe real problem with overseas postage is that once above large letter size there are 3 Worldwide areas, and the same for Europe 3 areas, all with different costs.
If quoting for overseas, best to cover for highest cost worldwide and same again for Europe.

·6 months agoThe postage cost to Canada shown on your listing is £3. You must have set that cost up at some time but, as you say, it won't cover the current price.
You can't ask the buyer for more money so you can either send it or cancel the order.
You do need to look at your items and bulk edit your overseas postage costs (or sell to UK only) so you don't find yourself in this situation again.
