Can I let an item that only a specific Bayer can purchase?
During a recent auction a buyer purchased items from me. He asked could I reduce postage and combine the 5 items into one package and on one invoice. The system on ebay would not allow/permit or enable this to happen. I have suggested that he cancel his winning bid as he is unhappy with the multiple delivery charges and that IF he still wants the items, I might resist them as one sale with a buy it now price, however, how could we guarantee that he was the purchaser?

Mentor6 months agoYou can't. The best thing is to list them as an auction rather than a BIN, making the start price the price you've both agreed. After your buyer has placed a bid you can end it early (via the dropdown menu for the item) and use the option to sell to highest bidder. That way it won't matter if someone else places a bid first, your buyer's bid will just go up by a small increment.

OP6 months agoSo, how would the items be described, perhaps simply list them as a 5 item lot and describe them?

Mentor6 months agoYes, title it 5 blank blanks, and then describe each one in the description. You can copy & paste descriptions from the current listings.
