Can I change postage option to click and collect on sold item at buyer’s request?
I’ve sold an item with Royal Mail Tracked selected by the buyer. It is now larger than the RM accepted size after packaging up the item (69cm x 49cm) but light. I was advised by the Post Office to send via ParcelForce due to the dimensions, but the buyer’s exact address and postcode is not on the RM Postcode Database as it is a new build house. The PO won’t accept the package because of this.
So I have a larger parcel than anticipated AND an address that does not exist on the RM Postcode finder database. Not sure how to resolve this and would really like some advice. I am a private seller.
Can I send the package via click and collect so the home postcode does not matter?
If I can do this, what courier will it use? I have avoided EVRI previously due to poor prior experience but the buyer says they are great in her area.
Many thanks..

Mentor10 months agoYou cannot change delivery after selling. Only way would be with agreement of buyer, cancel sale and relist with whatever system of delivery you want.
Sellers are only protected if they post to address provided by ebay, which is why you cannot. change to C and C.
