Buying from an auction
I have a Samsung Windows 7 laptop which I love but recently things have been going wrong with it. I bought it new some 16 years ago. I decided to buy a used replacement for it on eBay yesterday and found one that would be ideal. The seller had it on auction or best offer, so I offered him £5 more than the asking price. There was 48 minutes left on the auction and when that time was up, the seller relisted the item with no explanation. I was needless to say a bit peeved and offered £5 more again but then decided, if he wants not to sell it, then I will retract my offer which I did. I bought a Windows 7 after with no problem from another seller which cost me more but no games this time.

Mentor5 months agoMaking an offer so close to end of auction, there is no guarantee seller even saw the offer.
Again your second offer may not have been seen, not everyone is on their computer 24/7.
