Buyers Fees
I sold an Item yesterday for £330 but I have had £13.91 deducted from that amount leaving £316.19 as the amount I will receive. Why has a deduction been made I thought the buyer should have been paying this fee?

So @61stephenuk is correct with total you receive.

Mentor8 months agoDid you accept an offer from the buyer for £330? This is the maximum the buyer is offering.
If so that includes the buyer fee which eBay deduct before sending the balance to the seller
Your offer should have at the bottom
You have received an offer of £xx
You will receive £YY

OP7 months agoThank you. Yes I did accept the offer but my understanding was that the buyer pays the buying fee. Ebay do state that the buyer pays the buying fee. After googling it, it does appear to be a general grievance that Ebay are doing this. Ebays practice to deduct this money from the seller needs to be set out more clearly I think.
