Buyer wants to return after they have clearly broken the item
So I sold a brand new bread maker 2 weeks ago, now they sat they want to return as it was broken in transit, and sent me 2 photos, where its supposedly broken in transit is literally impossible, the only reason it could break where it has, is by someone trying to remove e a screw yo access the insides, now I had this last year with a bose stereo component, the guy clearly ,bought the item took the insides out a d swapped for his broken inner workings, but broke the plastic casings in doing so, the photos and his messages showed his guilt but ebay still paid him the refund out of my money without my approval, so I'm asking do we have no seller protection against deception and stealing our property and damaging our goods then send it back to us and we have to kindly refund them.

Mentor7 months agoIf it's at all possible that some damage was done in transit, if you used Simple Delivery and the buyer opens a return using the reason "Item damaged in delivery" ebay will issue the refund themselves and you keep the payment. Item does not have to be sent back even though it's a return.
