IT can be, as long as they have paid for the item then you are free to share contact details.

I would add if the item you have or have sold was collection only and the buyer is sending their own courier in two things, the courier or the buyer needs to give you the collection code in order you can mark as dispatched on your system.

Secondly - the buyer is NOT covered by the ebay money back gaurantee, they lose this "insurance" by using their own third party courier. So in the event they come back with an issue after the item has been collected you are actually protected better.
