A buyer wants to cancel an order after payment. However when trying to cancel and refund, the full amount isn't available in my funds, the postage charge isn't there. So it's asking me to pay extra to refund the buyer. Is there a way around this? As surely you shouldn't have to pay postage for something you haven't sent?

Ebay takes payment for seller paid postage straightaway, for some reason, so what they are doing is normal. However, I think ebay will refund that postage without you having to claim a refund, but it's not clear from any policy that they do that. If not I think we would have seen many complaints about it. The refund policy still says one of the conditions is that you sent by traceable postage, which you can't fulfil.
