Buyer still hasn't collected

Question

I sold an item in February and have long since received the funds which are now gone as I sold the item to pay towards something else.

Problem is the buyer still hasn't collected the item. I need the space as the item is quite large but I'm also afraid to keep pestering for collection incase the buyer turns round and says just give me a refund as I no longer have the funds. What should I do, the item has been in storage since February

We don't know what may have happened in over 7 months, but maybe some emergency, and not allowing for collection?

Whatever the reason, you do have the item and their money.

You cannot manage anything through eBay now it's too late. Have you paid for this storage for the item? Then, show them the invoice, and deduct that from the price paid.

You can repay them via cheque, bank transfer or a PayPal Friends and Family payment if you have a PayPal account.
