Buyer sent product to wrong address
Summary: oxfordprophotography explained an issue where a buyer entered an incorrect delivery address, resulting in the product being sent to the wrong location. The buyer now requests a replacement sent to a new address. oxfordprophotography is concerned about the implications for seller protection. papso22 confirmed that eBay requires sellers to ship to the address used at checkout and indicated there may not be a resolution available through eBay for this situation.
"The buyer entered an incorrect delivery address at checkout. I dispatched the order to the exact address provided on the eBay Order Details page, and the carrier has delivered/attempted delivery to that address. The buyer has now provided a different address and is asking me to send a replacement. I do not want to send a second item and potentially lose seller protection. Please confirm that the original order is considered fulfilled and advise how I can resolve this with the buyer without being liable for a second shipment."

You don't have a way to resolve this through ebay and they will not protect the buyer. If the item gets returned to you then you can consider a partial refund. Do not send a replacement, the buyer should buy another one through eBay.
