Buyer requesting total but can't send invoice!
Summary: the_new_mrs_hey started a discussion about an issue they were facing with a buyer who was requesting a total but there seemed to be a problem with sending an invoice. *vyolla* and tressygirl joined the conversation, but no specific responses or solutions were detailed in the provided content.
Please help - I have three orders when buyer has requested total before payment (one they have ordered 2 items and want to combine and one where there was option for collection or delivery).
Â
In both cases when I click on send invoice action, I get a message saying I can't send an invoice because they've been listed using "simple" delivery. I just keep going round in circles on the help and with the buyers 🙂 Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks.Â

Mentor2 months agoThat is correct, you cannot combine postage after purchase, the buyer needed to place them in their basket first, then go to Bay checkout for the postage to be combined.
Â
You have 2 alternatives now. Either use your own postage, but there'll be only one tracking number so it does leave a situation open , for potentially 2 cases of not received items to be made.
Â
Or, bit of a faff, but you could also cancel all items, with the Buyer's permission this fully refunds them and doesn't affect your seller performance, relist them altogether for the buyer to buy and pay again. Cancel selecting Buyer Requests to Cancel.

A refund for the unused SD labels, is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:

The only workaround here would be to cancel the orders and then relist them all in one listing for the OP to re-purchase, then there'll only be one lot of postage.
