Buyer requested a refund for a fake reason
Summary: dlotiw17 reported a buyer requesting a refund for a dash camera, claiming it was defective. dlotiw17 tested the camera and found no issues, suggesting the buyer's reason was dishonest. *vyolla* advised to refund the buyer if the item has been returned and suggested reporting the buyer to eBay for misusing their Money Back Guarantee.

camera gets hot and shuts down, when the footage is played back it is patchy amd blocky, not what I would expect of a 4K dash camera from blackvue. useless for capturing any decent footage. so inwould like to return it ASAP for a full refund". I have got camera now, tested in the car, working perfectly, recording 4K videos,
all commands and voice can be heard, crisp clear videos and vision, no issues at all. Got a recorded proof. He is demanding full refund for a basic lie. I know a lot of
help on ebay, but not sure what I can do against dishonest buyer. Please give some advice. Regards Witold

Mentor2 weeks agoYou'll need to refund your buyer if you have your item back, at least you can re-sell it.
You can report the buyer for misusing eBay's Money Back Guarantee.
