Buyer received item three days after being refunded for non receipt
I had an overseas buyer file a claim that he had not received an item. It was sent tracked as requested by ebay. Ebay refunded him then three days later the item is delivered. Now ebay will not pay me and buyer will not pay me

OP7 months agoEbay do not let me have the buyers address they changed that over 10 years ago, why would the buyer care he has his money and the item, Ebay should get the money they have proof it was delivered as to my contract with them but again what do they care

OP7 months agoYes all as ebay demands Global shipping is not mandatory it is an option, sellers are allowed to use other services as long as it is tracked, It is not me that is at fault I have lost out, the buyer had the item and the refund

Mentor7 months agoYou say buyer will not pay, are you sure this is the case as there is no way to pay again through ebay.
Payment has to be made by arrangement between buyer and seller, probably the easiest way for an overseas buyer is Paypal. If possible send buyer a Paypal invoice with explanation.

OP7 months agoPosted by Royal mail Tracked service tracking number posted to ebay, Like I said delivery was made after ebay refunded buyer, little more than theft really. out £18 for item and £10 for postage, Royal Mail are not interested will only refund what I can prove I paid for item and not even the postage

Mentor7 months agoSo you arranged the export yourself, sent to an overseas address and bought postage through ebay?
If you did, then there is meant to be some new seller protection in this scenario but it might not apply to overseas sales.
This is when using Global shipping is an advantage, you only have to prove delivery to the UK hub.

Did you use the Global shipping programme and if so, did tracking show delivery to the hub?
Is your payment on hold, or has ebay refunded with your money?
