Buyer received goods but denies he received them
Buyer cancelled the item after it had been sent. He then said he had not received it and said I hadn't sent it. He then wanted proof I had sent it and I sent him 3 photos of the courier delivering it to his house. When he saw the photos he said it was his house. He has refused to return the item or pay for it. I took out a complaint against him but this was 6 weeks ago and Ebay have not been in touch. What should I do?

OP6 months agoHi. Yes I did send it without him paying. I thought he had paid for it as I got a message to tell me to pring off the delivery sticker address, He cancelled the order as it was on his way to him.
He definitely got it as I have the couriers photos and details

Mentor6 months agoNoooo, Never send an item before payment is confirmed by eBay!
Please, please google how selling works or enter into Help & Contact Starting selling.
You will lose a lot of money and even your account without knowing 100% how selling works on eBay.
Was this an expensive item sold, I see you sold a badminton racquet, for £60 +, you may need to pursue it legally for payment, as eBay rules were not followed, they cannot help you now.

Mentor6 months agoPhotos do not work in these disputes, only tracking which shows delivery helps.
Buyers can ask to cancel, but Private sellers do not have to agree.
Did you use a Simple Delivery label? Then, if the buyer opened a case for item not received, eBay deal with this, they refund the buyer and you get to keep the payout.
I have just read your post again !! Are you saying you sent the item Before the buyer paid ? You should Never do this, and there's no complaint to put to eBay, you did not unfortunately follow seller rules, unless I have misunderstood your post? 🤔

If he paid, you sent and tracking shows delivered, you are OK.
He could still do bank charge back, unfortunately ebay won't defend it.
Best to sit tight unless buyer opens case.
